How to Install Custom Wraps on Model 3

This guide explains how to prepare and install custom PNG wraps on your Tesla Model 3 using the Paint Shop feature. Follow these steps to ensure your design displays correctly on the car's screen.

Which template fits my car?

Check your headlights to identify your model year.
The 2024+ Model 3 has slimmer headlights and no front fog lights, while the 2017–2023 models have standard headlights and fog lights.
If you have a 2024+ Performance, look for a more aggressive front bumper and a rear spoiler.
A wrap made for one template will not line up on another.

Install in 3 steps

1Copy the PNG into a folder named Wraps on a USB drive (exFAT or FAT32).
2Plug the drive into your Tesla.
3Open Toybox → Paint Shop → Wraps and pick it.

Tips

Ensure your PNG file is between 512x512 and 1024x1024 pixels and under 1 MB.
Name your file using only letters, numbers, underscores, or hyphens, keeping it under 30 characters.
Format your USB drive as exFAT or FAT32, not NTFS, and create a folder named 'Wraps' at the root.
Plug the USB into the car and navigate to Toybox > Paint Shop > Wraps to load up to 10 designs.
